Built by people who've actually run companies.
Hexsol exists because most AI consulting falls into one of two camps: slide-deck firms running 2003 change-management playbooks, or software vendors who only recommend their own platform. We do neither.
The problem
Every company is facing the same problem.
Leadership wants employees to use AI. The tools got rolled out. But nobody handed anyone a playbook. So the well-meaning people on your team are using AI for the wrong things, the people who could be transformative aren't using it at all, and the budget is going somewhere that nobody can measure.
We've seen this pattern across professional services, B2B SaaS, ops teams, marketing teams, finance, HR. It's not an industry problem. It's a leadership problem — and it gets fixed the same way every time: someone outside the org has to come in, see clearly, and prescribe the actual fix.
The wedge
Independence is the difference.
We don't sell software. We don't have a partner program with any AI vendor. We have nothing to push.
That means when we recommend a tool, a workflow change, or a hiring move, we recommend it because it actually fits your business. Not because we're paid to.
Who we are
Founder: Kurt Hamel
Hexsol is founded by Kurt Hamel. Kurt has founded and run multiple companies — an IT firm, an SEO firm, a general online marketing firm — and consulted with companies and startups across industries.
That background matters because the people who buy AI consulting at mid-market and enterprise companies have been burned by consultants who've never actually built or run anything. Hexsol is the alternative: consultants who have.
Across every one of those companies, the pattern was the same. Leaders want their teams using AI. The training, the playbook, and the support aren't there. The fix is rarely "more tools" — it's clearer thinking, the right training, and sometimes structural changes. We deliver that.
Our name
Why "Hexsol"?
Hex (six) + sol (sun). A nod to the Aztec mythology of the Sixth Sun — the era of transition into a new age. AI is ushering in a new era of work. Hexsol helps teams cross into it.
